DESCRIPTION:This is  a training session for new NBUA umpires.  This session will cover the basics of how the NBUA works;  how to obtain uniforms and how to wear protective gear;  how games are assigned\, how mentorships work and how training will progress.  Apprentices will be offered 31 hours of training this year and they must attend at least 19 hours of that before games will be assigned to them. \nThis session will be held in the meeting room of the Redmond Library.

SUMMARY:Apprentice & C Tier Training
DESCRIPTION:This is a training session for new NBUA umpires.  This is the first of several field mechanics training sessions and it will take place out on the baseball field after lunch.  Attendees should dress for the weather because these sessions will be held rain or shine\, maybe even in a snow storm.  You will be performing drills designed to help you move and signal correctly in game situations.  Be prepared to run. \nYou do not have to bring an umpire uniform or protective gear but an umpire mask might be helpful to have in some of the exercises.  Also\, a few mitts will be needed by the trainers.  Please be prompt.  This is your first test\, umpires are NEVER late to a game.
