SUMMARY:Apprentice Training
DESCRIPTION:This will be the first of many training sessions offered for Apprentice umpires in the NBUA for 2022.  This session will provide you with an Introduction to the NBUA and to baseball umpiring in general.  We will discuss how the training schedule works\, how you acquire uniforms and protective equipment\, how the ranking (tier) system works in the NBUA and other basic questions will be answered   This meeting will be held over Zoom and the invitation to the meeting will be handed out to all new umpires (if you do not have an invitation yet feel free to contact any of the board members listed under the Contacts section of this website).

DESCRIPTION:This second training session for new Apprentice umpires will be held in person (COVID permitting).  It is strongly suggested that you be fully vaccinated and to wear a proper and effective mask to this meeting.  Attendees can expect to receive their NBUA notebooks at this session. \nThe classroom for these meetings is generally located in the upstairs of the building closest to the football field.
