DESCRIPTION:Plate Training session for Apprentice and C-Tier Umpires.  A-Tier and T-Tier umpires are encouraged to come and help out as this will satisfy their training requirements.  We will need 25 instructors if possible. \nA last minute change has us coming out to the field at Eastside Catholic NOT to the cages at Woodinville.  We intend to conduct plate training in the morning using “soft toss” .  As a result\, full plate gear is NOT required but bring your mask if you have one.  You are free to wear the full plate outfit if you think it will help you get the feel better\, of course.

DESCRIPTION:We are trying to get it set up so that there will be games to observe.  The idea is that the lower tier umpires will have a chance to observe actual games being worked by upper tier umpires.  In the best case\, you will pair with your mentors and go to a game\, sit in the stands and watch how it’s supposed to be done.  You should be able to get in on the pre and post game meetings to some extent as well.  E-mails will be sent out to let folks know what games will be available.  Park rules have to be taken into consideration as some parks won’t allow spectators.
