Possibly the most valuable training we get all year is the few hours we get to spend in the batting cages before the season.  Here we use pitching machines to simulate real pitches and we get behind a “catcher” and make the calls under the supervision of our peers.  Be sure to bring and to wear all appropriate safety gear for this one.  In addition, a few gloves are always nice to have around.
